Welcome to the official website for Kāhui Ako across New Zealand Aotearoa.

There are 220 Kāhui Ako involving some 58,000 teachers. Across School Teachers (ASTs) and Within School Teachers (WSTs) in these Kāhui Ako are producing wonderful, effective resources and learning how to lead and stimulate improvement to the private, personal practices of classroom teachers in their daily lives.

Work is underway to enable Kāhui Ako to support each other using existing technology. The initial goals for this website are:

• To enable and support Kāhui Ako Leaders, Across School Teachers/Leaders and Within School Teachers/Leaders to connect with each other for whatever purposes they choose; and
• To enable the creation of a resource repository that makes the extraordinary resources, learnings and advice Kāhui Ako have created to be preserved and shared.

There is a considerable amount of mahi to be done before this vision can be realised and this website brought to life – please be patient.
